Staff are always happy to see you and very welcoming. Great choice of bakery products with some lovely sweet things as well as locally baked bread which is lovely and fresh and tastes great! Choice of coffes and other hot and cold beragges to choose from. They don't bust the budget and I really feel it is value for money. A little gem!!!

we called in today and got a prawn and seafood sauce baguette with salad and a tuna mayonnaise baguette with salad both were lovely and made as we waited. We also tried a piece of their Cherry Bakewell flapjack which was excellent. We got such a lovely welcome when we walked in and very good service. All came to £10.38 with two small bottles of water.

We just happened to stumble across this place hungry and ended up spending nearly £20 on a bag of cakes to take home! Beautiful, fresh bread, cakes, pastries, and tray bakes. Friendly, attentive service. Reasonable prices. I'd weigh 30 stone if I lived too close.

Great food, great selection always fresh and reasonably priced. The staff are amazing, cheerful, nothing too much trouble. Great buffet service for parties, wakes etc. wouldn’t go anywhere else in Newhaven.

Great, popular little bakery in Newhaven. Caters for all with veggie and vegan options. Sit in or take away. Staff always friendly and the food is very nice. Not the most cost effective place to eat but worth it and always good to support local indie businesses. Well worth a visit!

A very good baguette (and cake, and savoury, etc) shop. Very friendly place. We had our sandwiches made to order - there's a good range of fillings available, some of which you don't often see - I had the smoked salmon and cream cheese, for example. Really can't find fault with it - recommended.

Lovely little cosy place. Customer Service & Food are Top! It is a must to pop in for a coffee and a cake! Staff is polite and fast to serve fresh food every day. Very large selection...(I couldn't make up my mind ;) ) Highly Recommended

A Newhaven fixture, the Baguette shop has been serving Newhaven for 30? Years with fresh pastries, baguettes, and lunchtime staples. The staff are friendly, the prices reasonable and you can sit in or outside. I buy from there regularly and have never had any issues with their food or drink.
